NAJJAR NAJJAR ARCHITECTS designed the House ME with swissFineLine sliding windows. A unique project that creates a very special atmosphere through its conscious design and the use of natural materials as well as large-scale window elements.
House ME is located in the Viennese municipality district Langenzersdorf. A wine-growing area on the outskirts of the metropolis with a rural character. The challenge for NAJJAR NAJJAR Architectes was to design a modern house, to combine the urban lifestyle of the customers with the rural environment. The location of the building in the middle of the property was determined by the consideration of the existing trees.
Another important aspect was to connect the garden with the living area, to zone the outside space. Spatial sequences are created that are continued in the interior and enable permeability to the orchard behind the building.
Our frameless sliding windows blend in almost invisibly, providing absolute transparency and a panoramic view of the hilly landscape. Characteristic of the house is the roof rising from the ground, which connects the garden level with the roof terrace and the large orchard behind the building.

«Design is also the search for the perfect line. It separates, connects and creates clarity. "
Element sizes of up to 20m2 enable the uncompromisingly light-flooded design that connects the outside with the inside.
As the most secure window in its class, swissFineLine offers significantly higher burglary protection than other manufacturers and thus serves the security needs of the residents of this rural dream home.
Despite the high weight, the heavy glasses can be operated effortlessly. Thanks to the sophisticated technology, the drives are invisibly installed in the frame and can be operated via app or control.
We meet the individual needs of this project with customised one-off designs.
